Therapy With A Trained Clinical Professional

Psychotherapy For Teens, Couples, And Families

I offer confidential psychotherapy to teens, adults, couples and families. Some of the areas I focus in are; addiction, disorders, anxiety, stress, trauma, depression and relationship Issues.

Individual Therapy: This therapy involves only the patient and the therapist.

Group Therapy: Two or more patients may participate in therapy at the same time. Patients are able to share experiences and learn that others feel the same way and have had the same experiences.

Couples Therapy: This type of therapy helps spouses and partners understand why there are concerns in the relationship and what changes in communication and behaviors can help, and what they can do to cope.

Family Therapy: Because family is a key part of the team that helps people with any issues get better, it is sometimes helpful for family members to understand what their loved one is going through, how they themselves can cope, and what they can do to help.

"I began therapy with Susan after my divorce. I had some anxiety and panic episodes and was highly apposed to being put on medication. Counseling with Susan around these issues proved to be a holistic and healing experience. With hard work I began to be less symptomatic and Susan pushed me in all the right ways to help me grow."

"Susan and I have been working together for 3 years  and I have learned a lot about myself through our sessions. Not only does Susan help me identify the root of my anxiety and depression but helps me come up with ways to handle any issues that I must face."

"Susan has a wonderful ability to connect with people. Her use of humor and therapeutic story telling helped to establish a meaningful place for me to heal. I was able to make connections that I needed to change."

"Susan has an effective interactive and probing style all while giving her undivided attention to my issues. Her encouragement helped me discover those tools in my box that were important to propel my personal growth."
